Introduction

Edward is a fluent Mandarin speaker having studied at Cambridge and Peking University.  He has previously worked in the airline sector, and then in asset management. He has a strong knowledge of the Chinese service sector with a good network of contacts in insurance, banking and finance.  He is also involved with supporting charities in both China and Thailand.

Description

China Consulting was founded by Edward Holroyd Pearce and Daniel Nivern in 2006. Based in London with offices in Beijing, the company specialises in market entry for UK firms, market research, partner sourcing and meeting set up. We have worked extensively in the insurance sector, and also in education. We are also actively focusing on Chinese Outbound investment. Our sister company, China Recruitment, runs programs placing UK students and graduates in internship placements in China, and we also run programs bringing Chinese students to gain work experience in the UK.
